**How will I help?**
As a Team Manager of the Sanctions Team you will be responsible for overseeing their team by acting as a reference point for Offshore, policy, procedures & compliance whilst managing their performance and encouraging the teams development within AML Operation Teams. You will manage and lead a multi-brand team within AML/CTF Operations that deliver Customer Monitoring outcomes across all Westpac Group brands.

The Team Manager will also ensure that team members are following Westpac Group protocol, policies and procedures when completing all tasks, whilst also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. The Team Manager plays an integral role in the facilitation and development of a cohesive team environment and is responsible for ensuring the effective management of all business processes, people, risks and dependencies across the team.

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Proven leadership and coaching experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing a team in a high-volume and fast paced team environment
- Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders
- Cultural awareness
- Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Capacity to manage change within the team
- Experience and knowledge across Anti Money Laundering - Counter Terrorism Finance & Economic Trade Sanctions, desired
