**About the role**:
**We are currently looking for a registered dental professional to join the Colgate Scientific Affairs team, on a casual part-time basis, as our Professional Educator for NSW. As a Colgate Professional Educator you will bring your knowledge and experience as a dental professional to educate undergraduate students across NSW Universities as well as provide education for qualified dental professionals.**

**Who are you?**
- ** You are degree qualified in either Dentistry, Oral Health Therapy or Dental Hygiene**
- ** You have a passion for oral health and prevention of oral disease, and are able to translate scientific knowledge effectively**
- ** You have excellent communication and relationship skills**
- ** You are flexible to travel across NSW to provide lectures during the university semester and are confident to present in a virtual environment**
- ** Demonstrated experience in education or lecturing will be highly regarded**

**NSW Colgate Professional Educator responsibilities include**:
**Delivering lectures**
- ** Liaise with academic staff at the Dental and Bachelor of Oral Health programs in New South Wales to arrange the delivery of the Colgate lectures to students and staff**
- ** Aim to deliver at least 4 lectures in each program and one staff lecture each year**

**Building relationships**
- ** Arrange meetings with key academics to plan engagement**
- ** Meet with Deans/Heads of Schools to discuss annual plans for utilization of Colgate funding, where appropriate**
- ** Assist Scientific Affairs Manager to build partnerships with key stakeholders/opinion leaders at the dental teaching schools**
- ** Attend student awards/prize giving /graduation /research & student presentation events at key universities as required**

**Attending conferences and providing webinars**
- ** Represent Colgate at conferences, CPD events & dinner meetings where required**
- ** Deliver scientific presentations, webinars & or ‘welcome’ speeches at conferences or online where needed**

**Engaging in training**
- ** Attend Professional Educator training meetings**
- ** Assist with the training of the Oral Care Consultants for the Professional Oral Care team if requested**
