**About Springfield Central State High School**:
Springfield Central State High School is an Independent Public School located in Greater Springfield, South West of Brisbane (approximately 40 minutes travel from CBD). Located in the Western Corridor of Brisbane/ Ipswich, Springfield Central State High School offers the opportunity for staff and students to play a key role in the wider Springfield Learning Coalition, supporting the development's founding dream of being a hub for learning from Prep to University.As the Head of Department - Mathematics you will have responsibility for:

- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Ensuring key systemic requirements are enacted.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
