**About Us**:
Woodcrest State College is a Prep to Year 12 College with an established reputation for quality education in the Springfield community. Conveniently located across the road from the Springfield Train Station, our specialised Primary and Secondary Schools are resource rich settings with the latest technologies, gymnasiums, laboratories, playing fields, performing and practical arts programs. We also have an Academic Enrichment Program available from Year 7, Sports Excellence in AFL, Volleyball and Basketball and an on site Kindergarten and Trade Training Centre.
**About the Role**:
Woodcrest is a P-12 College in the Greater Springfield area of Ipswich. The successful applicant for Head of School Primary will have demonstrated experience and outcomes in leading school-wide teaching and learning agendas. They will demonstrate proven capability in leading staff around the implementation of the Australian Curriculum, effective pedagogies and associated high impact teaching strategies. Knowledge and experience in developing innovative digital practices and pedagogies would be an advantage. A strong commitment to the P-12 ethos is an imperative of this position.As the Head of Department Curriculum you will have responsibility for the following:
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.

- Capacity for leading and managing change within the school environment and school community.
