About the Role
As the Head of Department - Mathematics, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead school AIP strategy of Successful students, Endless Opportunities, Empowered Communities.
- Faculty strategy including improvement strategies, meetings, faculty promotion and innovation.
- Teach 3 lines as required in school timetable.
- Schoolwide NAPLAN management inclusive of data investigations for growth areas of impact to inform targeted curriculuminterventions

Curriculum and Assessment
People and Pedagogy
Build capacity of teachers in facultyAPDPs for allocated faculty teachers identifying priority areas for supportEngage in collegial observations and feedback, Visit classes on a formal and informal basisSupervision of senior/experienced senior teacher additional activities, oversight of faculty teachers moving from provisional to full registrationFacilitate, organise and approve appropriate professional development in accordance with curriculum trendsSupport staff with student behaviour management and action curriculum related referralsEnsure staff adhere to the whole school learning policy.
