Moreover, this is your chance to be part of the success story. **Position Summary** As a dedicated Senior DevOps QA Engineer, you will be responsible for streamlining the building, validation and implementing automated operational engineering/DevOps solutions for large and complex projects. Creating the Development and Deployment strategies by testing priorities and doing Continuous Testing every time a new code building is pushed to the repository. You will be involved in improvement initiatives within the Cognizant community that inspire improvement across our DevOps culture. Providing technical innovation and thought leadership to guide environment/operation and development teams in the automation of operational processes. Analyse, evaluate, and develop the strategies to validate the changes required in interfacing system in alignment with the architectural changes and document the new system requirements. Supporting engineers on implementing solutions within complex enterprise environments and proposing suitable automation testing solutions like adopting Framework based automation for better test coverage & maintainability. Write preliminary and executive reports highlighting the key findings and recommendations across each development phase. Ensuring all components provide quality, security, scalability, stability, efficiency, and reliability, maintaining compliance with client processes and governing standards. You will be responsible for Containerization, clustering and scheduling using the Azure Kubernetes Services & Azure Container Service. **Mandatory Skills** - Minimum 8 to 10+ years of hands-on experience on Energy & utilities, Banking domain, and retail domain Java and VB scripting for Test Automation and SAP (Functional/Configuration and Promotion Management), Automation Scripting tools such as Selenium & PowerShell and Mobile Automation testing tools like Appium. - Strong development skills and experience to create tools and emulators to meet upstream and downstream virtualization requirements. - Rational Functional tester, SCJP certifications with strong Automation frameworks development experience into various automation tools. - Experience in SAP S/4 HANA FICO & SAP ISU and integration with other modules Device Management, Works Management, Market Interaction, HR, Concur, SAP MM and Procurement functionalities. **Roles And Responsibilities** - Analyse, evaluate, and develop strategies to validate the changes required in interfacing system in alignment with the architectural changes and document the new system requirements. - Develop code by following coding standards and guidelines as per the best practices in the industry. Researching, consulting, analysing and evaluating system program needs. - Providing advice, guidance, and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software purchase and upgrades - Maintain the code corresponding to the constantly changing system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards. - Develop, automate, and maintain tools to meet the system requirements and maintain the quality of the system. - Propose suitable testing solutions like adopting Framework based automation for better test coverage & maintainability. - Write preliminary and executive reports highlighting the key findings and recommendations across each development phase. - Delivered the software solutions using Agile Scrum and project management processes. - Chaired the Triage meeting with multiple Agile Teams to ensure quality software delivery across the Agile life cycle. - Provide expert advice and guidance in developing proposals and strategies to uplift and maintain the systems to support changing technological requirements. - Shared Application Knowledge by conducting Project and technical training sessions for team members. - Deployment of Software across the environment and doing the Production verification **Qualifications/Certifications (Optional)**: - Master’s degree or equivalent in Science, Computer Applications. - ISEB & ISTQB, Teradata, SAP certifications, Six Sigma Green Belt certifications would be a plus **Salary Range: >**$100,000 **Date of Posting**: 12-May-25
