Local Unit & Position Description:

- Develop capital investment models for new battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Develop supply chain strategy and costing model for BESS.
- Developing a feasibility study for BESS and revenue models.
- Conduct some level of Electrical Design in BESS.
- Conducting inspections of BESS.
- Conduct compliance assessment of BESS with respect to local safety and electrical codes.
- Interface between Equipment Manufacturer, project developers and project financers.
- Lead the implementation of local and global (equipment level and project level) standards for BESS.
- Familiarity with the production process for LiIon batteries.
- Interface with external clients and manage BESS advisory services in Australia.
- Project management skills and experience in an international, multicultural environment.
- Travel as required by projects and/or business opportunities.

Position Qualifications:

- Over 10 years of industrial experience in BESS or adjacent renewable industries.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
- Communication with external and internal clients, stakeholders, project management and project financers.
