We are looking for an experienced Power Sector expert to join our Clean Power team. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a profound impact, driving the transition towards a cleaner and greener world.

**You will be a “seller-doer” playing a key and leading role in growing our business in Australia** with a focus on technical due diligence for developers, investors, and owners of renewable energy, storage, and power network infrastructure.

In projects, your role will be to provide technical expertise with a focus on transmission networks including grid connections.

**Must have**
- University and master’s degree in energy economics / economic regulation, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar.
- ** Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.**:

- ** Significant experience working for private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.**:

- ** Specific experience carrying out and overseeing transmission planning studies, including steady-state and dynamic stability studies.**:

- Excellent understanding of Australian and global power networks and power systems, power sector regulation, electricity markets.
- Solid experience in successfully leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent written communication skills
- Native or professional-level competence in English

**Desirable but not essential**
- Experience using DigSilent ©, PSS/E ©, and/or Powerworld © or equivalent.
- Experience with transmission-level concept design.
- Experience reviewing and implementing technical regulations including grid codes.
- Experience with power market design studies.
- International experience in power sector consultancy - demonstrable experience in North America, Europe, Africa or Latin America is an asset
- Relevant experience using Helioscope ©, PV/Syst ©, Homer Pro © and/or PLEXOS.
