**Your role**

The HR Advisor role is a member of the HR Business Partner Team and is responsible for providing sound HR advice and support to its client group.

The role is based Parramatta, with hybrid working possible. Regular travel within the within NSW may be required to provide onsite support and advice to clients.

**What you’ll do**

Your role is to partner with managers at all levels to deliver best practice HR advice and consultancy services to support clients achieve their objectives, including:

- Workforce Planning
- Recruitment and Selection
- Job Design
- Resolution of Workplace Issues
- Alignment of the Culture to the DCJ Values
- Performance management
- Change management advice and support
- Interpreting legislation, awards, agreements and policies

**What we’re looking for**
- Develop effective business partner relationships with all levels of management to influence, coach and become a trusted advisor.
- Work collaboratively with the business to inform policies, procedures, systems, and services.
- Present on a range of HR topics to promote and support workforce strategies.
- Research and analyse information and make recommendations.
- Use IT to maximise efficiency and effectiveness and maintain appropriate records.
- Plan and co-ordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
- Maintain a high level of motivation and perseverance.
