About the role

This role provides high-level financial advice and reporting to support business performance and strategic planning.

- Analyse transactions and prepare monthly financial and dashboard reports

- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior leaders

- Deliver month-end reporting and performance commentary

- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive costing models

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and controls

About you

You are a confident communicator with deep financial expertise and a solutions-focused mindset.

- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and accounting principles

- Experience in business partnering and performance reporting

- Familiarity with the Government Sector Finance Act and Australian Accounting Standards

- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, SAP or MyWorkzone experience desirable

- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
