**About the Opportunity**

**The Village** **Home Care Services** is looking for experienced Age Care Support Workers to provide **Community Care Services** to our residents. This is a unique opportunity to assist our residents in their own homes, which are located in our **independent living villages** - so it is very easy to go from one client to the next one

Our Villages are located in **Yeronga, Coorparoo and Redcliffe**. You can either work at one or multiple locations.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assist with Personal Care
- Provide Domestic Assistance
- Provide companionship and support clients with social activities
- Assist clients with transportation to appointments, etc.
- Prepare food & assist clients with eating
- Assist Clients with medication

**Key requirements**:

- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Well presented, reliable and resilient
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current National Police Check
- Blue and yellow card/NDIS Workers screening check or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Assist clients with medication unit (desirable - or willing to obtain)
- Current unrestricted driver’s license & reliable vehicle
- Comprehensive car insurance
- COVID 19 Vaccination
- Experiencing with Dementia respite would be an advantage

On offer will be **excellent remuneration**, a pleasant working environment and training opportunities. This is casual position with solid hours and the option to transition to permanent part-time in the future.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $27.35 - $54.90 per hour

**Experience**:

- Aged Care: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (preferred)
