Redcliffe, Australia Beaumont Care Full time

Beaumont Care Independent Living is looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. This key role works in the local community, in the Brisbane north, Moreton Bay and Caboolture regions. Shifts available include short day shifts working in the community (3-hours per day during school hours), alternating weekends as well as a variety of mornings, evenings and sleepovers within SIL houses.

**About the role** - We are looking for support workers who are confident in supporting participants with high needs (including dementia and mental health) to actively engage in everyday activities. Responsibilities include:

- Community access
- Cooking and mealtime assistance
- Domestic assistance
- Medication assistance
- Assisting with personal cares
- Assisting participants to work towards their goals.
- Providing excellent customer service
- Have the ability to work across multiple locations in the Moreton bay region (Sandgate, Brighton, Kippa-Ring, Petrie, etc.)

**Qualifications & experience**
- Minimum Certificate III in community services/Individual Support
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Certificate in medication assistance or willingness to obtain
- Complete NDIS workers orientation
- NDIS Clearance Check
- Current open Australian Drivers Licence
- Computer literacy and smart phone

**Highly desired but not essential**:Experience working with complex participants including diabetes, epilepsy, modified diets, mental health and high physical needs.
