About the Role

Serena Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable female Support Worker (participant preference) to assist a middle-aged female participant recovering from a back injury and surgery. The participant requires ongoing rehab support, companionship, and household assistance.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is kind, patient, and professional, with a genuine passion for making a difference in people's lives.

Shifts Available

  • Monday Morning – 5 hrs
  • Tuesday Morning – 5 hrs
  • Friday Evening – 2.5 hrs
  • Additional hours may be available once staff settles in

Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Following care routines as directed
  • Light household tasks (dusting, kitchen cleaning)

About You

  • Female support worker (participant preference)
  • Experience in disability, rehab, or trauma care preferred
  • Kind, patient, and supportive approach
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • NDIS Worker Screening & current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
