**About the business**

PJ Meats Pty Ltd is a reputable wholesaler of pre-packed and vacuum packed beef, lamb and veal. It is one of Victoria’s finest Halal meat wholesalers and it services an extensive client base throughout Australia. Due to company’s success and rapid growth, we are now recruiting experienced and dedicated Skilled Meat Workers to join our team.

**About the role**

**Duties/Responsibilities: for Skilled Meat Worker**

Shave or singe and defeather carcasses, and wash them in preparation for further processing or packaging.

Slit open, eviscerate, and trim carcasses of slaughtered animals.

Cut, trim, skin, sort, and wash viscera of slaughtered animals to separate edible portions from offal.

Operation of equipment and machinery to saw, split, or scribe carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handling.

Remove bone, washes, trims and cuts meat into standard cuts to prepare for packing.

Maintain high hygiene standards throughout all processes.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $73,500.00 per year
