Chandler Macleod are partnering with a meat manufacturing company in
**Thomastown** (Northern Suburbs), looking for
- experienced_ Maintenance Fitters to join their Maintenance team.

You will be available for site call outs when required, disassembling, repairing and reassembling machines, fault finding, writing reports and Inspections.

About the role Ensuring the efficiency and maintenance of all food machinery through preventative measures and troubleshooting.

You will need to have a dedication to safety, and an eye for detail as this role will put your critical thinking skills to the test

This role is reporting to the Maintenance Manager working across both Meat Boning facility and Meat Processing Facility in Thomastown.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring optimal production efficiency and downtime is minimised
- Contributing to the improvement of the plant by assisting to identify improvement and automation opportunities
- Project work including new equipment installations and commissioning
- Breakdown repairs and troubleshooting
- Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on all plant and equipment within the factory
- Improve machine efficiency
- Completion of daily line set-ups according to schedule and standard set-up procedures

**About You**:
We are looking for someone who can operate in a team, work independently, and who shows initiative in the work they are producing.

**You will have**:
Australian Mechanical Trade Qualification Have strong communication and troubleshooting skills and be able to follow instructions Manufacturing industry experience.
