Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced Logistics Advisor to join the Decommissioning team in Perth, WA. The primary objective of this position is to support the Bayu Undan Removal and Disposal Team to progress the preparation and execution of the Bayu Undan asset removal and disposal activities.

**Tasks include**:

- Mitigate or minimize risk to the business through proactive collaboration within the Bayu Undan Decommissioning (BUD) team
- Effective and timely engagement and collaboration with internal Santos stakeholders, external consultants, regulators, community stakeholders and service providers.
- Comply with all industry, company standards and processes.
- Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering efficiencies
- Actively manage site HSE risks and contribute to their management and resolution
- Package Lead for coordinating and managing the contractor responsible for the provision of port services required to support FSO decontamination alongside the Tibar wharf in Timor Leste which also includes provision of in country accommodation, personnel transportation and meals for the project teams
- Support all packages with the import/export of their equipment to/from Timor
- Support all packages with the segregation of generated waste
- Support all packages with the handling, storage and export of Hazardous/Dangerous Waste to Australia
- Support the procurement team through the contract award process
- Support in the preparation of documentation required to obtain regulatory approval for port activities
- Frequent travel to Timor Leste to engage with the Contractor and ensure delivery is on schedule
- Ensure contractor delivers on its local content commitments

Role Specific Accountabilities:

- Ability to write clear, concise and accurate progress reports
- Manage document changes during project execution using MOC process.
- Identify, report and manage risks associated with the delivery of the port services scope of work
- Ability to Deliver in a dynamic environment where delivery timelines are short and priorities evolve quickly
- Manage contractor to ensure technical and contractual obligations are met
- Manage competing requirements of package engineers

**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**

**Location for this assignment is Perth, WA working full-time office hours. Travel will also be required to Timor Leste.**

**About You**
- Hold a relevant Logistics Management Qualification
- Have a Hazardous / Dangerous Management Qualification

Required experience for this position includes:

- Extensive experience working in supply chain and logistics management which includes an international posting
- Extensive experience working in site based logistics, located in remote locations
