**About the role**:
This role is accountable for leading the strategic approach, development and execution of Digital Marketing, Martech/Adtech and data capability, analytics and measurement, personalisation and content within Brand and Marketing. In addition, leading Marketing Transformation and end-to-end accountability for Suncorp’s Digital Brand - Bingle.
Responsible for delivering return on marketing investment through financial and customer outcomes. Partner with key stakeholders to lead marketing transformation for people, process and technology, that will enable Suncorp to take a customer centric approach and leverage Suncorp’s digital and data assets.
**More specifically, you will**:
**Digital Marketing**
- Develop the Digital Marketing and SEM portfolio strategy and manage all paid Search activity across the Suncorp Group to deliver growth targets
- Responsible for performance media marketing budget, its allocation, optimisation and reporting on ROI.
- Provide strategic leadership to work with internal stakeholders and external agencies on Digital Marketing
- Develop new opportunities through emerging platforms leveraging 1st party data and AI/ML to deliver growth and customer value
**Content and Personalisation**
- Formulation and implementation of the Group content and social strategy. Defining the digital marketing strategic direction and driving best practice innovation through strategic use of digital and social marketing channels.
- Design and production of scalable content for earned media (social), owned asset content (web assets), and paid media (digital and traditional).
- Lead marketing approach to personalisation, including personas development and experience design.
- Establish ways of working to across brand and marketing and wider group to take a customer centric approach to personalisation
- Leverage internal and external research, competitive and industry intelligence to ensure content strategy is current, fluid and two-way with customers/communities.
- Manage and enhance key platform partner relationships, and ensure optimisation of key platform partner contracts
- Accountable for marketing ROI by developing content that complements focus on high value/high potential segments.
**Martech/Adtech and data capability**
- Lead the strategy and implementation of the marketing/ad tech stack across the group. Collaborate with business, IT and customer data stakeholders across the organisation to create a strategic roadmap for advancing our digital technology platforms, evaluate benefits and build the business case for investment.
- Develop and manage the day-to-day operation of Suncorp’s marketing tech operations (Adobe Marketing Cloud, Ensighten, Doubleclick, Active Profile, Tag Management, DMP, Adobe Test and Target, etc).
- Maximise return on existing tech investments (e.g., CDP, DMP, Cloud, Analytics etc) through knowledge sharing, best practices and training.
- Integrating data new capability including ML/AI
- Oversee design for data enablement, governance and standardisation of data collection; segmentation and business rules; maintenance, monitoring and quality control of data.
- Ensure data is available for wide consumption throughout the marketing teams for both reporting and actionable insights.
**Analytics and Measurement**
- Lead for audience management, attribution and optimisation for brand and marketing. Evolve the portfolio approach through enhanced measurement capabilities, such as delivering channel outcomes and building a comprehensive group audience approach. Including management of 3rd Party Data partnerships.
- Develop and maintain the Suncorp attribution model to drive improved optimisation and ROMI. Manage optimisation program including frameworks to deliver marketing effectiveness
- Leading the discovery, trial, and integration of new digital data and analytics platform technologies (including latest product developments from Google and Adobe).
- Lead data driven insights and recommendations to Brand and Marketing teams enabling optimisation of marketing activities, channel budget optimisation, and delivery of improved ROMI.
**Marketing Transformation**
- Lead the development and execution of Suncorp’s Marketing Transformation roadmap to future proof Suncorp’s Marketing capability and deliver a competitive advantage
**Bingle Brand and Marketing**
- Lead Brand and Marketing for Suncorp’s Digital Brand - Bingle
**About you**:
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on digital or direct marketing
