PERMANENT FULL-TIME ROLE based in MELBOURNE

**Enough about us What you’ll do as a Broadcast Technician**:
You’ll need to love technology, be able to pick stuff up really quickly, share knowledge, and embrace change. You will thrive on keeping up with the rapid technology developments in the Broadcast and IT industries and enjoy getting your hands in to the nitty-gritty of our systems & hardware.

**Functions will also include**:

- Technical support and maintenance of Broadcast and IT equipment
- Working with equipment suppliers to ensure minimum down time and optimal reliability of broadcast and IT equipment and systems.
- Providing a professional high level of service and guidance to end users and clients.
- Document a whole lot of systems and procedures.

What are we looking for? What’s important?
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Telecommunication or Systems Engineering
- Linux OS and scripting
- Familiarity with cloud based systems
- Windows Systems Administration
- Network and Hardware troubleshooting and Support
- Ability to work a rotating shift roster including early mornings, late night shifts and occasional weekends.
- Calm under pressure and working to time critical situations

Extra brownie points for experience with any of the following (not essential):

- Broadcasting equipment
- Post-production systems
- Media Asset management systems
