Today, the organisation based in their Raymond Terrace location, continues to grow and is a registered provider with the NDIS, offering respite and residential care services as well as fantastic day programs across multiple sites.
**The Opportunity**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Establish and publish rosters that align with residents and operational needs.
- Update and amend rosters as needed to accommodate availability, sick leave, unplanned leave, and annual leave.
- Supporting the identification of rostering needs and working closely with team leads to fill gaps
- Coordinate all rostering requests ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner to reflect client requests, within scope of role
- Update and maintain roster changes (or similar system) to ensure accuracy of roster changes - could you word this into the second dot point?
- Meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy including a strong focus on quality of work
- Monitor hours worked by support workers to ensure they are working within the scope of industrial relations obligations
- Strive for continuous expansion in work practices by seeking and reporting opportunities for improvement
**About You**

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of rostering, scheduling processes & rostering software
- Experienced in supporting staffing and associated HR requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of the NDIS
- Knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2020 (SCHCADS) will be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in a highly productive, fast paced environment
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed computer literacy
- Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Minimum two years’ experience in disability/aged care, rostering and administration (desirable however not essential)
**Appropriate SCHADS Level depending on experience**
**Key Requirements**:
- Demonstrated rostering experience, administration and data entry role utilising rostering computing systems and client information databases
- Demonstrate a positive and professional “can-do” attitude, excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work within a team and independently
