**The Role**:
The Access_Ability_ Adviser is responsible for the assessment, delivery, coordination, and administration of services to students with whom the University is required to negotiate reasonable adjustments under relevant State and Commonwealth legislation

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide advice to current and prospective students about services provided by Access_Ability_ Services
- Register eligible students with Access_Ability_ Services
- Negotiate with registered students to prepare an Education Access Plan
- Consult with registered students, and liaise and negotiate on their behalf
- Accurately input data, record, and maintain case information and prepare reports
- Administer the bookings of Education Access Workers through various agencies

**About you**:

- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation pertaining to the rights of people living with disability and the responsibilities of educational institutions.
- A relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Experience in understanding the impact of a range of psychiatric, physical, sensory, neurological, medical, and learning disabilities on educational and personal development, preferably in a tertiary setting
