**Jack Engineering is currently seeking an eager, passionate, and dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team, based in Hastings.**

**About the Role**

In this role you will report to our Senior Project Manager, and work alongside our Estimating & Sales, Workshop, Purchasing and Site teams, in delivering a high level of customer service through the end to end management of each project.

**To be successful in this role you will have**
- Strong communication skills
- Strong and clear problem solving skills
- Strong ability to build customer relationships through positive engagement
- The ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot and adapt to various situations
- A clean driver's license and the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, if requested
- Be willing and able to travel to various site locations throughout the working day

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**
- Administration of client program scheduling in conjunction with the workshop, site operations and client project plans
- Liaison with fellow sub-contracted Site and Project Managers
- Liaison with our sub-contracted Drafting services
- Coordination of client payment plans including scheduling and issuing of invoices, purchase orders and claims, in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Clear coordination of client expectations, including budgets, deadlines, work scope, forecasting and variations
- Continued enforcement of the company occupational workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Min 12 months experience within a Project Management role (building and construction industry experience highly regarded)
- Trade qualification or degree qualification in Project Management (highly regarded)
- Previous surveying and/or site measurement/set out experience (highly regarded, but not essential)
- A valid Industry White Card (or the ability to obtain one for work)
- A valid Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain one for work)
- Be highly organised and self-motivated, bringing a can-do attitude with clear initiative and proactive thinking
- Strong computer skills in Office 360 (Word, Excel), Gmail and Dropbox
- The ability to juggle multiple projects at once

**Who we are and what we do**

Jack Engineering is a family owned structural steel fabrication company based on the Mornington Peninsula with over 25 years' experience specialising in bespoke projects for residential and commercial builds across Victoria.

We work with a number of long standing local builders, along with several high end Melbourne based construction companies, with our core business in the fabrication and erection of structural steel, within residential and commercial type builds.

**NOTE**: A National Police Check and Working with Children Check is a requirement of this role.
