**About the role**

As SME Sales Support Specialist you’ll proactively support new and existing Origin Business customers with sales activity across gas and electricity, while actively promoting and generating leads for all products and services in market

As experts in Sales customer journey, you’ll ensure utility needs for Origins Business customers are met.

Responsibilities include:

- Guide new and existing customers through the retention, acquisition and move journey, ensuring utility needs are met whilst delivering outrageously good customer experiences.
- Grow and retain our retail SME market share.
- Prepare proposals and offers for customers whilst understanding the revenue, margin and customer needs.
- Maximising margin by improving our sales position and realising all attributable revenues.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with partners and major customers;

**About you**

In this autonomous role, we are looking for self-motivated, driven sales people with a passion for delivering quality outcomes for customers. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability build strong relationships and influence and negotiate with ease.

More about you
- Previous sales experience within the energy sector highly desirable
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills to manage and service large and complex customers.
- Ability to use sound commercial judgement to improve customer experiences, taking into consideration risk and regulatory frameworks and acting within delegation of authority.
