**About the role**

A key role reporting to the Field Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, optimising and maintaining field gas production equipment.

The Multiskilled Operator position is site-based on a rotational roster based out of the Spring Gully area but may involve allocation at any other of Origin Energy’s Australian assets.

The Multiskilled Operator shall operate in a manner that is in line with Origins purpose and values. They shall also adhere to all HSE procedures and guidelines.

**More about the role**
- Manage the integrity and production performance of an allocated field run within the Spring Gully area
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain field production equipment, promptly addressing defects and ensuring plant operationality.
- Maximize well availability through daily reviews, swift restarts, and quick issue diagnosis and resolution.
- Perform essential maintenance, including servicing, repairing, and replacing production equipment (preventative and corrective).
- Execute local and remote asset start-up/shutdown/isolation, adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate closely with the production engineering team to optimize well Artificial Lift Systems (ALS) and gas/water gathering.
- Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) legislation, procedures, and actively participate in risk assessments.
- Actively engage in safety meetings, build stakeholder relationships, and be available for after-hours on-call rosters and emergency response.

**More about you**
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience SAP or CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems)
- Experience in interpreting P&ID’s
- Five (5) years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Cert III or similar in Process Plant/Field Operations advantageous
- Cert III Mechanical and/or electrical & instrumentation trade or tertiary education in an engineering or construction discipline advantageous
- Experience in isolation of plant and equipment as well as removing and installing equipment under quality plans.
- Experience in issuing permit to work and holding permits.
