**The opportunity**:
We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the development and evaluation of a community-based peer support program for young people with spinal cord injuries across Victoria, NSW, and Queensland. This mixed-methods study involves collecting and analysing qualitative data through surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Responsibilities include facilitating focus groups, analysing qualitative data, assisting with literature reviews, contributing to ethics submissions, data management, stakeholder engagement, and manuscript preparation.
**Your responsibilities include**:
Collection of qualitative data, including organising and facilitating interviews and focus groups
Develop and manage a REDCap database
Work to improve skill base in research productivity and methodology
**About you (desirable)**:
Degree/Honours/Masters qualification in Science or related rehabilitation/health discipline
Demonstrated ability to collect and analyse qualitative data
Knowledge about paediatric spinal cord injury from past clinical or research activities
Experience with REDCap, data management, and videoconferencing technology highly regarded
