**The opportunity**:
We're seeking an experienced Research Assistant to drive data management and harmonisation efforts within the Mental Health in Primary Schools initiative. This pivotal role involves cleaning, managing, and harmonising data across different time points and cohorts, as well as developing data frameworks for our multi-year evaluation.

Join our dynamic team at the Policy and Equity Group (Mental Health Research & Policy), collaborating with the Melbourne Graduate School of Education and the Victorian Department of Education. Together, we're spearheading the Mental Health in Primary Schools program, aimed at empowering Victorian primary schools to better support student mental health and wellbeing

**Your responsibilities include**:
Data cleaning and harmonisation of longitudinal, multi-site datasets, and sub-dataset generation in preparation for analysis
Development of a data management plan and protocol for MHiPS, documenting data management processes, ensure standardised procedures for storage of quantitative and qualitative data and data auditing
Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
Establish and document processes for data sharing and collaboration with external research partners

**What we need from you**:
Post graduate statistical/data science qualifications (e.g. Biostats, Psychology, Public Health); or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience in data management, data cleaning and/or data harmonisation from trials/registries and/or large-scale program evaluation studies, or other relevant industry experience
Expertise in data science including data capture and management software such as REDCap and statistical packages such as Stata
Outstanding efficiency, organisation, and documentation skills
