**About the role**

The Workforce Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in collecting, structuring, analysing, and reporting on HR data for the Department of Government Services (DGS) and its client departments.
The Workforce Reporting Analyst undertakes regular and accurate data analysis to produce workforce reports that are meaningful, informative and are accompanied by narrative and presented in a manner that is understandable to the audience.
**About you**
To be considered for the role, you must have experience in HR reporting and/or analyticsand be able to:
- Retrieve, cleanse and analyse HR data from various sources and prepare reports in accordance with Department requirements.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support regular reporting needs of People and Culture team members and other stakeholders.
- Deliver DGS and client department workforce data disclosures for key publications and mandatory reporting, including department annual reporting, Victorian Public Sector Commission (VPSC) workforce data collections and Parliamentary Accounts and Estimates Committee (PAEC) hearing questionnaires.
- Support maintenance of a position establishment database to enable effective workforce planning, including managing and actioning requests to update the database.
