**Description**:
Osborne Richardson, working on behalf of a leading Local Council in Sydney's West, is actively seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract, set to commence immediately.
Key Responsibilities:

- Utilise tertiary qualifications in HR/IR/ER to provide expert guidance and support.
- Demonstrate well-developed HR generalist skills within an award-based environment.
- Interpret awards and relevant legislation pertaining to human resources management, industrial, and employment relations.
- Lead the resolution of disputes, grievances, disciplinary actions, and other industrial matters.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
- Provide accurate and timely advice on reward and benefits, employee relations issues, business realignments, workforce planning, performance management, discipline, grievances, and dispute resolution.
- Identify and communicate outcomes, significant issues, and risks related to HR matters.
- Negotiate, influence, and constructively challenge decisions not in the best interest of the organisation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the human resources business plan.
- Undertake and successfully complete projects assigned as part of the HR strategic initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR/ER.
- Proven experience in HR generalist roles within an award-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of award interpretation and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and resolve disputes, grievances, disciplinary actions, and other industrial matters.
- Proficient in recruitment and selection processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to provide accurate and timely advice on various HR matters.
- Strong project management skills and ability to contribute to the HR business plan.
