Major Federal Agency requires an APS4 Security Adviser to join their team in Canberra.

**Your new company**
A Federal Government Department has a key focus on National Security and provides policy and legislation regarding the security of Australia and its residents.

**Your new role**
Based in Barton, Canberra you will be working as a Security Adviser to assist the security team in the day-to-day protective security arrangements of the Department and its key stakeholders. Additionally, you will be providing advice and assistance to customers, stakeholders and senior management in their obligations and requirements of the agency’s protective security environment.
- First point of contact in the security office and on the security phone.
- Provide administrative support to the security team through data and information management.
- General security clearance maintenance.
- Provide general security advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in the positions of the APS4 Security Adviser, you must have experience in the duties listed above and have worked in a similar role with a minimum of two years’ experience.

This position is only open to Australian Citizen, and you must also be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).
