Sydney, Australia MY SUPPORT SERVICES Full time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker, possibly with a nursing background, to provide personalised care for our client, a 27-year-old individual living in Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering superior care and support for individuals living with disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Assistance with community access, helping our client engage with their local community and maintain a social presence.
2. Shower care at the client's home a few times per week.
3. Future out-of-home respite support as required.

Our long-term goal is to assemble a dedicated care team to provide consistent support for our client and their family, who currently do not have any support.

**About You**

We are looking for individuals with:
1. Previous experience as a support worker, preferably with a nursing background.
2. The ability to understand and adapt to our client's needs and routines.
3. An empathetic, patient, and resilient nature.
4. Excellent communication skills.

This includes an epilepsy management plan, manual handling guidelines, and PEG feeding documents.
