Need to be able to work in the following suburbs**:Kingsgrove and Marrickville**

**Afternoon shifts Monday - Friday from 3pm - 7pm and Morning shifts from 6.30am -9.30am Monday - Friday.**

**Who are we?**

At Affective Care, our purpose is to work with people with disability, providers and the community to deliver supports and services in a compassionate manner.

**What is a Support worker?**

A support worker is someone who looks after the well-being of people in their daily lives.

We are looking for support workers who have experience with clients under 18 years for in home care with complex needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting in participants high personal care needs and grooming within their home and assistance with household activities.
- Experience in **PEG feeding** and **bowel care, showering and personal care.**:

- Providing both physical and emotional support
- Provide care in accordance with their care plan and as directed, provide direct care assistance to participant.
- Aid client in accessing the community - driver's license is PREFERABLE.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Relevant diploma or certificate such as a Certificate IV in disability/aged care
- NDIS worker screening check required.
- Valid First aid and CPR certificate
- Working with children certificate

Specifically, our Support Workers support our participants with social, community, and recreational participation, in-home support, personal care, and daily living activities.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 6 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
