**As our Principal Facilities Officer, you will**:

- Lead a team responsible for managing the NRIFAEP facilities to ensure delivery of an effective and safe work environment. This may include oversight of after-hours and weekend security and duties.
- Contribute specialist knowledge and provide associated advice to the NRIFAEP to facilitate effective delivery of on-going services, projects, and strategies in relation to management of facilities.
- Prepare reports, submissions and correspondence of a substantial and complex nature addressing important and sensitive issues requiring specialist expertise and nuanced advice relating to fleet management and asset management
- Ensure ongoing business improvement to achieve maximum return on investment for resource expenditure (e.g., manage budget set for facilities leasing, managing relocation and maintenance of delivery of goods and vehicles) build and share internal and external networks and work cooperatively across boundaries to achieve effective outcomes.
- Advise and support senior management in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of facilities and fleet management strategies for the program (e.g., security access).
- Analyse and report on current and emerging fleet and facilities needs as identified through structured consultation with program business leaders and regular consultation with program roles undertaking procurement and contract management responsibilities and roles undertaking workplace health and safety responsibilities.
- Lead your team in the management and maintenance of positive business relationships with leasing agencies / relevant property manager and contractors so that facilities and buildings remain in good order and sustain safe and productive environments for occupants.
- Oversee staff managing the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods and the maintenance of vehicles.
- Drive collaboration by building strong and effective partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.

Mandatory requirements
- A current unrestricted 'C' class drivers' licence

- A qualification relevant to business management from a recognised tertiary institution
