**Business Advisor**
State Government based in Parramatta close to public transport 12 months contract that could lead to longer-term opportunities, this role is about preparing and finalizing accurate, detailed budgets, accounts, and management reports. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, receiving and resolving complex inquiries.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Prepare and update reporting and monthly forecasting for divisions, entities and cost centres
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget to facilitate the allocation of funding in line with corporate goals and Government objectives.
- Provide analytical support services to respond to client requests
- Establishes and fosters productive consultative relationships with stakeholders and clients to support and meet performance reporting requirements and forecasting analytical models
- Identify and deliver finance and related initiatives in partnership with other stakeholders and teams to build performance that supports people and business objectives.
- Identify, provide recommendations and implement agreed reporting and process enhancements to ensure desired business outcomes for stakeholders are achieved.

**What you will need**:

- Business Advisor experience 3-5 years, preferably within Government or large infrastructure
- Experience working with General Ledger
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Stakeholder management, budgeting and forecasting skills
- SAP, Prime, Excel knowledge
- Can-do attitude, be open to challenges
- CA or CPA
