Service Designer needed for digital projects for 4 months in a Federal Govt agency. WFH Hybrid role.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Service Designer to work on a digital project for 4 months in a Federal Govt agency located in Sydney CBD. WFH Hybrid role.

**Your new role**
- You will provide ongoing consultation and engagement to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop user research insights, synthesising information derived from research and conducing analysis and managing data flows with Commonwealth agencies to deliver meaningful insights on complex areas of policy and inform strategic direction
- Prepare robust, proactive and innovative written advice based on an understanding of the strategic and policy environment and related issues, evidence from research, stakeholder and user needs and organisational priorities
- Support the development and implementation of performance reporting and evaluation frameworks
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within your team, the branch and across the agency to problem solve, reach outcomes and (where relevant) collaborate with external bodies
- Lead or support a multi-disciplinary team to develop outcomes for digital services as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong strategic design and analysis background
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Facilitation skills are desired
- User focused - seek to understand the users and stakeholders within the eco-system
- Comfortable with ambiguity - accepting that you will not have all the answers all of the time and be able to sit with ambiguity and propose processes for gaining clarity and certainty
- Collaborative - be willing to work with others to achieve your outcome, sharing work early and often to ensure deliverables are on track
- Curious - be open to possibilities with the ability to translate these into digital opportunities
- Outcomes focused - understand constraints and environmental factors while delivering the best possible outcome
