As **Principal Safety Specialist**, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the effectiveness of our Safety Management System (SMS) through advanced analytics, digital transformation, and AI-enabled innovation.

You’ll act as a bridge between operational safety teams, Group Safety Data Analytics, and leadership, ensuring safety data translates into meaningful, actionable outcomes. This role supports employees across National Jet Systems (NJS), Eastern Australia Airlines (EAA), Sunstate Airlines (SSA), and Alliance QQ ACMI operations.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- 5+ years’ experience in airline safety management or technical data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Engineering, Data Analytics or related discipline.
- Strong understanding of SMS, CASA regulations, ICAO Annex 19, and IATA IOSA.
- Hands-on experience with Intelex or other SMS software is preferable.
- Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modelling, dashboard creation).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
