**About the Role**
As a Youth Development Casual, you will support the delivery of engaging programs and events that empower young people in Darebin. Working closely with Youth Services staff, you will:
- Create safe and inclusive spaces where young people can connect, learn and participate in activities which promote education, employment, arts, recreation and wellbeing
- Assist in delivering youth programs, activities and events across Darebin
- Support young people’s active participation and connection to services
- Work collaboratively within the broader Youth Services team
**Skills & Experience**
- First Aid and CPR (Level 2) required
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Experience working with young people in group settings
- Understanding of youth participation and community development
- Understanding of issues facing young people and appropriate service responses
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
