HR Officer - Part Time (30 hrs p/week)

**About Them**

An opportunity exists for a part-time HR Officer to join the HR team at the world's leading global logistics provider supporting the global exchange of goods through land transport, air and ocean freight, logistics and supply chain management.

**About the Role**

As the the HR Officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Act as first point of contact for HR queries for the designated business unit and completing HR administrative activities as required
- Supporting across the Employee Lifecycle
- Supporting the grievance & disciplinary process through effective investigations in accordance with Legislation and best practice H
- Supporting Industrial negotiations and processes such as disciplinary proceedings, EBA negotiations and management of all industrial activities for the client group
- Partnering with Talent Acquisition specialists to source capable talent to business unit both internally and externally
- Coaching line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development
- Support Employee Development & Training by recommending programs, facilitating programs where required and being an advocate of a learning culture

The role is based in Fairfield, working closely with another part-time HR Officer at their sister site, you may be required to travel from time to time to their neighbouring sites that are in close proximity of each other, so a car is required.

**About You**

To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess the following:

- The right can-do, positive and resolution-focused outlook and attitude
- Tertiary qualification in a related discipline
- 1-2 years previous experience working in a similar HR position including exposure to high volume blue collar environments
- Previous experience supporting a diverse range of employees (White & Blue collar) and management at all levels
- Good knowledge of relevant industry and HR legislation
- Able to travel between neighbouring sites in close proximity of each other - a car is required.
