Fairfield, Australia Protech Warehousing & Manufacturing Full time

Protech are currently seeking a skilled **Vac Truck Operator** to join a civil project in Fairfield. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vacuum excavation equipment.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Immediate Start
- Temp-Perm position
- $45-$48ph (Negotiable pending experience)

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operating vacuum excavation units and related equipment
- Performing stormwater pipeline cleaning and other hydro excavation tasks
- Accurately identifying and locating underground utilities, including power, communications, water & drainage lines
- Completing and submitting defect reports to the Workshop for timely maintenance and repairs
- Conducting routine servicing of vehicles and equipment as scheduled
- Maintaining accurate and timely daily job records and paperwork
- Adhering to all IMS procedures and company policies
- Ensuring all company vehicles are kept in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition at all times

**TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Hold a current unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) license (Vac Truck Operator)
- White Card
- General knowledge of plant and servicing requirements
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Excellent verbal/written skills
- Full working rights
