Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced **Project Officer** to join the Medical Oncology Department to assist the coordination and implementation of the ‘_Optimisation of psycho-oncology services'_ project.
The role is fixed-term, 32 hours per week for 10 months.
**To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities will include**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in healthcare
- Demonstrated skills and experience in quality or service improvement or project management
- Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and the ability to contribute to the development and implementation of new models of care, systems and processes
- Demonstrated skills and experience in data collection, management, analysis, and visual reporting of data
- Demonstrated experience with project report writing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
