Seeking a Property Claims Specialist to join an insurance team in Perth CBD, working on an exciting contract

**Your new company**

This government organisation are based in Perth CBD and are seeking a Property Claims Specialist to join the Commercial Claims team. This opportunity is initially being offered on a 6-month temporary contract, however with view of an extension or direct contract offered should you be the right fit. In addition, you will be paid on a competitive hourly rate, working full-time hours however with flexible arrangements on offer.

**Your new role**
As the Property Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering consistent claims management services to key clients, related to complex losses. In addition, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and maintaining effective partnerships with key points of contacts
- Ensuring high quality of claims managing by instilling best practices and conducting audits of claims
- Making a conscientious effort in delivering successful claims outcomes, ensuring a smooth and seamless process for clients

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for the role, you will demonstrate:

- Strong experience in a property or commercial claims management position
- Experience in the successful settlement of complex claims requiring significant negotiation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to step up and mentor the team when needed to support the Team Leader
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong organisation skills
