We’re looking for a skilled Claims Officer to join our dynamic Commercial Property Claims team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional claims service, analysing policy coverage, and expertly managing the investigation, evaluation, and negotiation of a variety of cases. Your new role- Stay up to date with insurance guidelines and policy changes, ensuring compliance.- Resolve non-compliant issues and escalate when necessary to maintain standards.- Build strong client relationships, responding to requests promptly and professionally.- Process property claims, determine coverage, and ensure accurate settlements.- Set reserves, authorise payments, and efficiently manage claim resolutions.- Identify and report suspicious claims, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders and adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
About you- Previous claims officer experience - Commercial Property Claims experience is highly advantageous- An insurance background where you have provided a world class customer service experience and have shown passion to grow and develop into a property insurance professional- A strong focus on customer service with the ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands- A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
