Brisbane Busways is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Services Technician that will be based in Murarrie, Brisbane to join our established maintenance and repair team, focusing on Brisbane's transportation infrastructure. Responsibilities include overseeing planned after-hours shutdowns, providing on-call coverage for repairing and maintaining mechanical services, and managing automated systems within the infrastructure.

**Your role as a Mechanical Services Technician**

**About You**
- Customer focused team oriented, accountable and results driven.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
- Ability and willingness to adapt, quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing structure, process, information and/or technology.

**Your Experience**

**Work Experience**
- Extensive knowledge of ventilation fans and motors
- Experience in maintenance and repairs within various settings
- Experience in industrial automation or process control plants desirable
- Demonstrated understanding of a multi-disciplined construction, maintenance environment.
- Experience overseeing on-site works and interacting with sub-contractors

**Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration UEE32211 or
- Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade MEM30205
- QBCC Mechanical services—air-conditioning and refrigeration occupational License
- QBCC Mechanical services - Nominee Supervisor (optional)
