We are currently looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our Engineering Services division, based in Brisbane on a 12 month fixed term contract.

As an experienced Mechanical Technician, you will be working within the hypersonic team at Eagle Farm supporting production and test activities across a diverse range of mechanical tasks, including:
Maintenance of machinery

Operation of lathes and milling machines

Interpreting mechanical drawings

To be successful in the position of Mechanical Technician, you will need to bring with you;
Previous experience working in an environment where safety is paramount including the use of Safe Operating Procedures

Proven experience in the safe maintenance and operation of industrial machinery including lathes and mills

Capability using basic hand and power tools

Good understanding of MS Office products

Ability to adapt to fast changing work environments

Waterjet cutting experience (desirable)

Good communication skills
