EQUANS ANZ has a unique and exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in Audio-Visual. Based in our Mulgrave office you will complete a 4-year apprenticeship while working alongside experienced Audio-Visual technicians. Essentially you will earn while you learn Gain industry experience and receive your apprenticeship in just 4 years.
- Role Overview_
- Assist their on-site manager with installation, reading and interpreting drawings/specifications, programming, testing and communications of various audio-visual systems across commercial building sites and premises
- Work with a team of technicians, tradesman, and project managers to successfully deliver audio-visual projects in accordance with company standards to meet project timeframes
- Follow relevant codes and industry standards which govern audio-visual installation and maintenance
- Demonstrate competence in establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues, and manager of the company
- Ensure the appropriate and timely use of equipment and phone/handheld device (where supplied)
- Attend call outs as per rostered requirements
- Demonstrate aptitude with audio-visual and mechanical tools
- Other duties as required
- To be successful in this role you will have_
- Year 12 (preferred)
- Construction induction card (preferred)
- Proficient in English & Mathematics
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable car
- Ability to do overtime and shift work if required
- Ability to climb a ladder
