**Service Technician - Trainee**

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Trainee Service technician trainee to join our team. We are looking to appoint a full time employee working out of the Mulgrave Facility and on the road.

**About the role**:
This is a full time position working out of our Mulgrave location and in the field.

Your duties will include a trainee position supported and trained by a senior technician in the following:

- Garage Door repairs and service both Commercial and Residential
- Installation of new remote-control systems
- Dealing direct on-site with our end-user customer base, Real Estate agents, Body Corporate, and builder clients
- Take payment from customers (using mobile phone app & EFTPOS)
- Providing high-quality customer service

**Your Skills and experience include**:

- Completion of an apprenticeship of any kind involving tool use and mechanical aptitude
- Drivers license
- Practical and technical skills and aptitude
- Trouble shooting and critical thinking
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Personable, friendly, passionate, warm, and engaging personality
- The ability to take direction,
- organization and time management skills
- Professional manner
- Well presented.
- Exceptional work ethic

Once you are fully trained:

- Company car - fully loaded with all tools of trade required -mobile phone with our service ap
- Reasonable personal use of company car
- Work related fuel card
