Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities and plays an integral role in supporting one of the businesses largest cores functions; trading, settlement and reconciliations.

You will be employed in the position of Settlements Associate, or such other position as may be required from time to time. As Settlements Associate, you will be responsible for, but are not limited to the following:
**Responsibilities**:

- Completion of daily processes related to money movement, FX transactions and international share movements
- Coordinating with transfer agents, broker partners and other involved parties
- Investigating problem/rejected transactions, as they relate to cash and share disbursements
- Investigating and following up on unsettled trades with all involved parties
Trading processes, including buying and selling shares via third party broker partners
- Following established rules that support compliance and audit processes and escalating issues to manager
- Assist in developing training guides and documentation of changing operational processes
- Testing, logging issues and following up on resolved issues to ensure they have been completed correctly

**Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Accounting, or similar area of focus
- ** 1+ years’ experience in a varied Settlement, Reconciliation, corporate actions or Middle Office role is an advantage.**:

- Someone with some experience in employee share plans would be ideal
- Some corporate actions experience
- Someone with experience in retail banking - credits/debits, dealing with client money etc.
- Attitude is really key - we need someone who is keen, excited by the opportunity and really looking for an operations role
