Full-time medical secretary/receptionist is required for a Specialist doctor (Gastroenterologist).
- Must have pleasant phone and front desk manners and must be able to work independently as well as with others.
- Preferably familiar with the medical software and medicare billing.
- Must be experienced with Word and database entry.
- Past experience as a medical secretary is essential.
- Initiative, attention to detail, the ability to solve problems and follow through with enquiries, and being a non-smoker are essential
- Must be flexible to travel to various practice locations.(Bella Vista, The Ponds, Parramatta, Wahroonga.)
- Establishing good rapport with patients
- Managing the financials of the Medical practice, patient billings and EFTPOS/cash collections
- Providing a safe and healthy working environment
- Managing patient records
- Maintaining a professional and friendly work environment
- Liaising with hospitals, professionals and companies to coordinate practice business and correspond with patients for recalls and appointment reminders

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
