**What you'll be doing**
- Manage and maintain patient records, including electronic medical records and filing systems
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, including managing patient bookings and liaising with patients, theatre lists with hospitals, anesthetic doctors and other parties
- Provide administrative support to the Specialist Doctors, including preparing correspondence, reports and other documentation.
- Excellent in handling phone calls from patients in a friendly manner and empathy would be key in managing their needs
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes with thorough accuracy
- Maintain an organised and efficient office environment
- Contribute to the overall success of the practice through excellent customer service and attention to detail

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, medical staff, GPs and other stakeholders
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations in Sydney if needed.
- Excellent personal presentation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.23 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 3 years (required)
