Must be available to work all five days from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Essential:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a medical receptionist/medical typist is a must (worked in a GP or specialist clinic).
- Great attention to detail.
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure and take instructions. Willing to work as a team player and take instructions.
- Knowledge of Medicare and DVA requirements.
- Able to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Calm and respectful towards patients.
- Fast learner.
- Fast typing skills.
- Ability to take direction.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience with Power Diary and BP (preferred not essential)
- Experience working in a psychiatric or psychological clinic is preferred.

Duties
- Typing doctors’ letters from Dictaphones.
- Assisting with patient enquiries
- Patient bookings
- Patient billing
- Answering the phone
- Filing, scanning, faxing and saving documents.
- Invoicing insurance.
- Other duties as directed.
