**Job Overview**
We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to support our growing business across Australia and New Zealand. The purpose of this role is to act as a true partner to the business and to provide strategic support to key parts of the business. We are looking for someone to support a variety of different teams and help support our positive environment with all our colleagues.
In this role, you will work closely with our Sydney consultancy teams across 6 service lines to facilitate strategic client engagement, re-engage existing customers, and uncover opportunities to cross-sell additional services. You'll play a central role in building a scalable, repeatable business development rhythm within the Sydney team.
For this role, you will be instrumental in our sales success, managing the full sales cycle. This includes:
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings with both current and prospective customers, partnering with technical consultants to ensure relevant expertise is present.
- Support consultants in preparing for client meetings with tailored materials, insights, and capability documentation.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities by recognizing client needs beyond their current service use and introducing relevant internal contacts.
- Maintain an accurate list of clients using only 1-2 services and proactively target them for broader engagement.
- Track all client interactions, opportunities, and outcomes, ensuring visibility into pipeline activity.
- Produce regular reports on BD activity, consultant engagement, meeting outcomes, and cross-sell progress.
- Build strong internal relationships with service line leads and project teams to ensure effective coordination and follow-up.
- Monitor tender platforms for new opportunities
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
- Applicants must have full rights to work in Australia.
- Preferred experience in customer service, direct sales, or solution sales.
- Experience with client communication and resolving client issues.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with database management and the sales process.
