**The Opportunity**
This is a great opportunity to develop your career in the public sector as a Licence Regulation Officer within the Department for Infrastructure and Transport. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of driver licensing services in line with legislation and departmental procedures.
Working under the guidance of senior staff, you will provide technical and administrative support across a range of licensing matters, assist with interpreting policies, and help ensure the accuracy and consistency of information processing. You will also contribute to improving internal processes and support the team with customer and stakeholder enquiries.
This role offers a chance to build expertise in a specialised area, develop your understanding of regulatory frameworks, and make a real contribution to public safety and service delivery.

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Demonstrated knowledge of databases (such as TRUMPS) is highly Desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office suite of office products.
- Working knowledge of relevant Acts and relevant policy and procedure is highly desirable.
**Special Conditions**
- A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
- A Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

- Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
**Tenure of Vacancy**
Temporary appointment up to 12 - 18 months, with potential to convert to ongoing.
Multiple positions available.
**Remuneration**
ASO4 $76,561 to $80,256pa + Superannuation
